Default 400ex brake troubles!

I replaced my front brakes on my 400ex recently, and they slow down the quad but won't lock em up like it should. I bled them thinking there was air in the lines, but that did not help. The break lever comes all the way back to the bars to.

Any suggestions or help will be appreciated.

i hand vacum pump works the best at bleeding brakes on these. sounds like air in the system still. make sure you put the resevor cap back on tight.

If you still have the stock rubber lines on, the lines are expanding with the pulling of the lever. It looks like it is time to steel steel front lines. But, 1st make sure that you dont have air in the old line.

I have bled the **** out of them, Im pretty sure there is no air in the lines. Could there be something wrong in the master cylinder causing it not to have full pressure?

It might be, but you most likey need new lines. If the lever feel goodsbut you can pull it back like nothing is working, Then the old lines need to be replaced. I had this happen with my 400, rplace the lines and the front brakes worked good after that.
