I have a 2001 honda 300ex and i took the baffle out of the pipe and ive had it out for a while and then i read on a website that if u take it out it could do damage to your motor and it said that it could overheat or sumthin like that so ne way i was ridin down the road in bout 4th or 5th gear and it just dies. i didnt think much of it cuz after like 1min of trying it fired up again and then i rode it for like 5 min and it did it again it just died. So i dont no if i fried sumthin or wat but i need your help. THNKS

 

it will over heat if u dont rejet it because it will be running lean. so thats probobly what was happening

 

dont bother with the stock exhaust, go ahead and buy a system, jet kit, and filter....really wakes a 300 up...
