Default end cap

for a big gun race series exhaust (or anyother similer exhaust) is it ok to not use the turndown end cap, cause i bent a part of it and it looks bad is it ok to run it without it or is it nessisarry? all it does is direct the flow of air downward. does it make a difference? thanks

i think he means the end cap as in the very end removable piece not the muffler itself. by just removing the end cap it wont effect anything unless it has a spark arestor then the screen will have to come out too.
