Man I am having problems. I put the kit in using the stock airbox lid on, Dj needle and clip on 3rd position 142 main just like they said. Lean.
So I put in the 146 main that they gave. Better but lean. A friend says to move the clip down one more, Rich. I put the needle back to 3rd position and put in 155 main. still lean. What is up? I live in SC below 3000ft. I have followed the instructions to a tee and I am still having problems. this is the only mod I have. It has the K&N, and I took the spark arrestor out. Please, help I am about to pull my hair out. It ran real good when I had the 146 and needle in 3rd postion, air screw turned 2.5 from fully seated. It was getting a little brown on top of white part of spark plug.

I use to have a 165 main on mine, and I am below 3000FT. But I now have a lectron carb.
Try a 165 or call dyno jet.

sounds weird, it should be fine i think your air screw is suppose to be 3 and half turns out.
are you putting in a new plug or you using the old plug.
