4-STROKE HIGH PERF. 250 SPORT QUADS?

Im not sure what the ex exactly means, but it has nothing to do with electric start. I read it some where a couple years ago, just forget. I think the x stands for motorcross, anyways, ex has something to do with racing.

i would love to see
-650ex
-250rx [fourstroke racer with crf250 engine in it]
-and some upadates for the 400ex
those crf250 engines are pretty potent too, they put out about the same HP as the 400ex if im not mistaken.

Aside from the 650EX and some updates to the 400EX, there is still one major thing missing. Now that Suzuki will begin manufactering Kawasaki's Mule, that means all the Japanese manufacturers plus Polaris have Side-By-Sides.........except Honda. You'd think that as much as they base their utility quads on work and chores, they would have a line of Utility Side-By-Sides.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea. (real 250 sport quad) The old Mojave is about as close as you get right now. It would be great to have a liquid cooled true 250 (four stroke) that is lighter than the rest with reverse and a clutch. Top speed has to be at least 60+mph. Shouldn't be too hard to do. If you look at the prices of the 250 & 450 4 stroke dirtbikes, you will see that there is very little difference because they are actually very close to being the same unit.
The same thing would apply to such a 250 quad. I don't see people lining up to pay $6000 for a new 250R fourstroke quad when the 450R can be had for a few hundred more.
You wouldn't want a top notch 250 engine in a downgraded chassis either to offset the price. If this were the case, you would be no better off than modifying a 300EX engine and keeping it in the stock frame.
