Default 300ex questions

Dear Fellow Riders,

OK, I just got back from a trip to the Jelloco Mountains and I ran into a problem. While I was riding I found out that
on my 300ex I had to pump my front breaks about 5 times to build enough pressure to get them to work. Do you have any idea
what is causingthat and how to fix it?

Also while we were on the trip we noticed that my left front tire was wobblin' so we started to look at it and we found
out that bearing had busted and it was causing the rim to be eatin up by the nut. eventually the nut busted off at camp and and I
was stuck riding double for the rest of the trip. (bad luck! )

I was also wondering what would be a few good mods to put on to my 300ex. I've already installed a white bros. muffler and K&N air filter just tell me anything you think of.

Jake

you might want to check your brake fluid and your master cylender.you might want to get a 14t front sprocket for a little more topen d and some 20in back tires.

you would want to go ahead and buy a master cylender rebuild kit and i forgot to tell you to check your brake pads. The rear pads on mine went out and it feels like there is no pressure. The master cylender pumps the brake fluid to the brakes i think.

The brake pads are fine and the master cylinder would effect both back and front this is just the front.
