thinking bout getting a 250ex

im gonna have to say that if your 18 5'8 and 150 you need to look at the 400ex,i think that after a while you would want to move on to something bigger.i made the mistake of getting a 300 first knowing i could handle the 400 and i am already wanting to sell it for the 400.

its simple get what you like,if you like the 250ex then get the 250ex.Don't let people talk you out of what atv you want.the 250ex is a great bike, especially in the trails my brother has a rap 660 and a 250ex and he always chooses the 250 over the rap, everytime we go trailriding, because the 250ex can fly through the trails without worrying about hitting stuff and it climbs about any hill.

I would say, get the 250ex, I got one on the 11th of this month, and I love it! Its a blast. It has enough power to mess around on and still have fun with. If u want to go 58+ mph, then get an upgrade or two. Cuz they go 50-55 mph, when they're all stock. Easy to do wheelies on, doughnuts, and driving on two wheels. They are fun to slide around on in the gravel. So, once again, get the 250ex, believe me, u wont be dissappointed.

You can get the true 250cc kit(I think its a 239cc, or 243cc). If you liked the part about it being auto clutch, which I do as well, you could get the 450r, which has a auto clutch kit, but I dont know if you are willing to spend $7500 instead of $3500!

sorry i havent replied in a while i have been gone to tn. for the last week and a half but anyways i found one here locally for 1750 its a 2003 has dirt devils and a yoshi pipe needs to be jetted some kind of terribly but does that sound like a good deal

Yes, that is an awesome deal, bcuz a brand new one retails for around 3,400-3,600. The rejetting isnt that hard, if you dont know how to do it, just take it to your nearest dealer and they will do it for you. The dirt devils are awesome tires. I dont like the yoshiri pipes, but they are pretty good. I think you should go ahead with it, but remember to look over all of it, and take it for a test drive bfor you buy it.
