pipe, jets will be the first thing you want to do to it.also by reading your sig it sounds like you could use some new plastics, just dont get black.then after the pipe and jets,a big bore or stroker kit will give you alot more power.

Ok,, I've found a set of complete set of pipes on denniskirk,, but they dont have a spark arestor, and dont make one for this system... Will that matter, and how much will it affect the sound?
The pipes are DG RCM Aluminum ATV Silencer W/O Spark Arrester
Does anyone know what this will sound like on this fourwheeler???

Yea these other guys are right. Pipe and re-jet should be your first mod. I've had DG pipes before and they are not of the best quality however they get the job done. If you plan to keep the 250x though I'd go with a white brothers or FMF maybe even a Supertrapp.

I put a complete big gun system on my 250x bought it from rocky mountain atv. opened up my airbox and jetted it. Made a nice difference

The FMF is a good pipe but will melt your fender. I have good about the big gun and tried the E-series on a 305ex big bore and it helped that engine out. The E-series on the 400ex are junk and fall apart so take that in to consideration.

Most aftermarket pipes will run real close to the rear fender by the seat and melt holes if you're not careful. An easy fix is to mount the pipe, mark on the fender where the pipe comes close, and put some adhesive - backed heat tile/fabric on those areas. I did that with my son's 300ex, and have been running a Supertrapp pipe for almost a year now with no burns or melted spots.
