Default DVX vs 400ex

How do these machines stack up to each other??

Reliablity
Power
Handeling
Mod acceptance
Mods period!

Also Honda hasn't released any info on the new 400ex so what differences could be taken into consideration on the newer models that Honda might put on.

reliability-- I havent heard of many problems with the Z clones but you know the EX is bulletproof.
power-- The dvx has the advantage here its not by a huge amount but definitely noticeable.
handling-- having ridden both i thought they were pretty much equal.
mod acceptance-- there is a lot of mods avavilable for both they both respond well to mods
mods period-- the dvx haveing liquid cooling will help when it's heavily modded.

hope this helps

They are both very reliable. The dvx has way more power . The handling is good on both. There arnt many mods for the DVX yet but most mods for the KFX400/Z400/ will fit the dvx.

in stock form the z may have a little more power, when you read dirt wheels and you see a tenth of a second difference, most of us couldn't tell which was different. this is a choice you could flip a coin on and be ok either way. i perfer the honda due to the amount of mods availible.

I would take the DVX due to the liquid cooling. The Honda has awesome reliability, but the difference in power is noticable.

I am a honda fan, but I like the Z400 better, more power, smoother ride, reverse.
I think the honda handles a bit better on tecnical stuff though.

i think the dvx has more power and it handles worse, because it wheelies like nobodys business

I thought the 400EX was supposed to be the undisputed wheelie king?

The 400ex has a bettter balance to it, the Z just comes up easier and isn't as well balance, not bad, just not as good. That is why it is easier to ride a wheely on the ex a.k.a. "wheely king".
