Default 250R or 400ex

i am stumped on which one to get i need somthin different because i have out grown my blaster, i really like 2 strokes alot but will it be reliable? i ride some pits and some trails. I am about 6'1 190 pounds i have some experience on a 88 250R my friend has and i have driven a 400 ex a couple times. working on it will not be a problem but i just want to be able to go on a longer ride in the trails and still maybe go to a pit and maybe ride some dunes. any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

For trails and pits I'd go with the 400ex. It is a great bike. The 250r is awesome too, it's your dream buke, so build it for the dunes. The 400ex is a sweet trail machine and it has great handling. Go for the 400EX.

well for everything you have said you do the 400 will do what you want, the 400 doesn't do any one thing the best but it seems to do everything very well, of all the quads i have and had it is the most fun overall

The 400 does great in the sand, all you need to do is put on paddles.

i would get my dream bike, or a z/kfx/dvx because they seem to be better than the ex, but thats just what i would do

I ride quite a bit of sand with my 400EX

It hooks up nicely with paddles...You need no major mods...although a pipe and a jet is nice for any type of riding

get a 250R, or get a 450R. the 400ex lacks power, you will out grow a 400ex fairly quickly too. but dont get me wrong the 400ex is a great trail bike.

yeah, come on people I dont see many dunes in maine lmao. Anyways, you can get a 400ex and still get roosted by my roosts or you can get a 250R and keep up. Dont get me wrong 400ex's are AWSOME! Deffinetly one of the best play quad out there but you and I both know you want adrenaline! So overall its hard to choose for you. IMO get both
