Default 400ex brakes

I know this topic has been talked about before and I have read all the things that were posted. I have a different problem. My brake adjustment on the rear is way out. I was trying to fix my brakes the other night and decided to pull the brake line to see if it was clogged. The brake line was fine and fluid came out fine. The problem turned out to be that the brake pedal itself was frozen and the shaft had rusted to the sleave it moves in. I poped it off cleaned it up and that works fine. I then bled the brakes and I have pressure and fluid right at the bleader. The pedal is way low though before any braking power comes in. I have to push to far for the brakes to come on. I tried adjusting the point off the plunger with no sucess. Please help me out.
Thanks
Eric

i don't know the most on brakes since i havn't changed mine yet, but did you add fluid to the resevoir yet? you may need to bleed some more, i am not too positive.

I have the same problem with a frozen brake pedal, but I cannot seem to get it to come out. I have the manual and removed all of the hardware, but it still will barely budge. How did you get your frozen pedal out? I have tryed to put some silicone spray in and still have no luck, hammering from behind, will not budge.

Thanks,
Nick
