question about 300ex rev box

ok, my friend wants to get a rev box for his 300EX. its stock. can you put the rev box oon even though you dont have any performance mods? I heard you can blow your motor if you dont have any on. ok thanks.

i doupt you will blow ur motor. but you really wont see much of an increase in power untill u start modding it (engine mods) thats when a rev box is needed. stock it really wont help
