I am looking at purchasing a new bike, the only problem I have is that Ido not what to get either a 300 EX or a WArrior. What are the differences like speed, handling, reliability and whatever. Tell what the problems that both of these quads face. Thanks alot.

The 300ex is lighter than the Warrior. The Warrior is faster (only about 5 or 6 mph). the 300ex more low end/ Warrior more top end. 300ex better handling (low end) Warrior all around good handling.

nuh-uh Warrior is better...Well it's paid for so I have to say that.

No seriously I'd have to say Honda because you just can't say much bad about them. Tha Yamaha has a crappy airbox setup. Stuff comes loose all the time, It has elec grounding problems. If you plan on leaving it stock the Warrior is a good all around. If you want to mod it a lot....Honda it is. That's not say Warrior is bad. I've had hardly a problem and it's a fun quad.

My family has both of these qauds. We have a 97 300ex and a 96 warrior. The warrior has been the 3 biggest peice of crap we have ever owned!!!!!(first was a YFM225,second was YFM80)Any way we have replacedalot of stuff on our warrior and it still leaks oil.We have had our 300ex since december 98 and have neglected it since day one.IT still runs awesome. It still has the original spark plug even.IT runs awesome. The only thing done to the ex is some 20/11/9 6 ply razr's on ITP .190 wheels.I took those of my 250r.Here is what I have gathered.

300ex easier to wheelie, better slider, better hill climber,And decent in the mud, typical honda and reliable as he#^!!!!!!,Awesome handling, great on jumps!!!!

Warrior unreliable, leaks oil, costly repair bills, bigger seat layout better for me I'M 6ft2 inches, good handling,ok on jumps, likes to bottom on big jumps.

i own both ...a '97 300ex and a '97 warrior....i am kinda bias to the situation b/c i just like hondas....if you want something to ride in straight trails fast get a warrior...if you want to race nice tight and twisted trails get a 300ex. I have had hardly any probs out of my 300ex and the only thing with the warrior is electrical problems(draining battery, bad ground, etc.) just ride em both and see which you like better

I go ridin with my buds and they all have warriors. 2 of theyre quads have a trans problem where they pop out of gear when theyre ridin. Ive heard this is a commin problem. I got a '98 300ex and never had a problem with anything. I have no problems keeping up with my buds at the dunes or in the trails. I can climb hills better, but it may be the tires.
