20" to 18'

Default 20" to 18''

my friend thinks i need to change my gears in my 250ex if i get 18'' tires. i dont see why but i thought i might check it out befor i go out and wast the money. do i need to do anything?

2 inches on the back tires is equal to a 1 tooth sproket change down on the front sproket. if you want to keep stock the stock gearing.

umm yea but its a 250ex its driceshaft cant do anything with the sprocket lol will it still give me better exceleration wiht changeing anything?

hahha o0o yeEeaAa. sry bout that replied to fast. ahh ya the smaller rear tires will give you better acceleration but a few less mph top speed.

i hear if you put a yamaha sticker on it, it will add 12 horsepower, and you could use it to keep up with me!

could you take all of the swingarm, and axle from a 250x, to convert it to be chain drive?

if so, leave chunk a suprise...he will wake up with shaft drive!
