The 400ex is a great trail machine. It has enough power for hillclimbing, but is less desirable because of the tendency for the front end to come up on steep inclines. I never had a problem in the mud....but I have noticed that some people have had dirty coil problems.

if you are a experinced rider the front end being light is not a factor. you won't be disapointed
with the 400ex. it's the best sport quad out there.

I was assuming that the person with the original post was not very experienced since he did not have his mind made up. The 400ex is possibly the best all around sport atv today (even though it is gutless) ...tomorrow that may change.

Why was that a big mistake? Because I can probably ride circles around you.

did you say you where 25 or 5?

Well, the raptor was designed by the same guy who designed the Banshee. The plastic doesn't even flow right. They just threw that thing together way too fast in my opinion. All aluminum??? Broken and wore out everything. Good luck with it. You'll be back.
