hey i was wondering if it would be a good move for me to trade in my trailboss for a 300ex. I mostly ride trails and i want something thats got some power and good response and manual transmission. By the way i am 14

 

In my opinion its definitely a good idea. I have a 300 EX and I love it. Its awesome on the trails, fast and very responsive. I think the 04' is pretty sweet in yellow too. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

the 300 exs are great quads , pretty much all around. I think you would like the power of the 300ex over the trailboss a lot.

I just got a 04' 300ex red and I absolutly love the bike. I have only taken it out twice now. First time I bent my handlebars, second time I bent my stearing rod. My husband has to bend something back every time I ride. You can tell I'm a newbie!

Anyway's buy a 300ex they are rated the best quad in my husbands Dirtrider mag.

 

if i had a trailboss i would def trade for a 300ex but u wont be to happy wiht it. ur better off moving up to a 400ex. trust me i have ridden a pipe 400ex with a k&n and it wasnt really impressive but it was a little jump from my trailblazer.

 

but then again i only got it into 3rd. i just like popping the clutch around corners, thats the fun thing abot having a clutch

 

You should go with the 300ex I have had one for about 2 years now and haven't had a problem yet go with the EX [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Rear axle bearrings are the only problem that I had with mine and they can get pretty expensive to replace if they do other damage. Mine destroyed the carrier and that had to be replaced. But it's back as good as new now!
