400ex=26
Raptor 660R=45?
KFX400=30?
KFX700=40
DS650=49?

The ones without questionmarks are the ones i'm sure about and a KFX700 has the equivalent displacement of 2 Warrior motors (350+350=700) so the KFX makes double the HP of a Warrior. But the drivechain on the KFX700 is automatic and all so it makes about 52hp at the crank but about 40 on the spinners. The 400ex seems lw but its true becuz the motor has not been updated in so long so its considered a low-tech 4-stroke compared to the newer high-tech KFX/Z. And also i'm exxagerating on the Raptor which only makes about 38 compared to the DS's massive 49 HP and yes its both through the drivetrain.

in one of my atv mags thay did a test on a kfx 700 and thay said on the dyno it made 50 rear wheel horse power not 40.
thay also said with some mods like a pipe jets and filter it should make about 10 more horses.

There is no way a raptor 660 has 45 hp stock. It is more like 35-36.
The 400ex has about 26-27.
The kfx400 has about 29-30.
I don't know about the kfx700 or the ds650.

Just because a 700 is 350x2 does not mean it is the same hp as 2 warriors put together.

What are you kidding me? Number one whoever said a kfx700 would make 50hp stock is just dumb... A stock raptor is 36 or 37 400ex about 28 and I dont believe that a DS 650 would have 50 HP not even to the crank.. I think for the rap 26 thats to the crank

Here is some number for you

Raptor- 48rwh
KFX700-75rwh
KFX400-95 to the crank
400ex.... 3 ... to the crank....
LT80.. 110rwh

Guys i took these numbers straight from Dirtwheels.. You know these always right

If the motor is o out of date on the 400 ex, then why is the KFX only got 2 more horsepower?
If that is true, then you could jet and pipe a 400ex, and outperform a stock KFX.
