I know I have a ton of these out but here is one more my parents said that if I want to race they will buy me a new quad so could u tell me what would be a good quad to start with my dad said it can't be a 400 or over. You're going to need something you can grow into and still have aftermarket support incase you ever decide to mod it....hmmmm
what's your height and approximate weight, what kind of other uses will this quad be used for?

 

What kind of racing exactly?

Maybe a 300EX if you are average size for your age, and 400EX/Z400 if you are bigger. My daughter is 14 and has been riding the 400EX for a couple of years, but she is big for her age. She had a 300EX before that.

I would say "Dad get me a old 250 2 stroke, or a new 400 4 stroke!" There arent very good racing quads under 400, other than them.

 

you could always find an old 250x frame and a cr 250 motor and combine the two. but your problably not into jimmy riggin stuff.

 

Maybe you could look into a raptor 350...or you can get a 300 and put the 330 kit in it.
I'd just beg ur dad for a 400 lol...

actually the 400ex is really 397 cc.
