If you dont like the post, then dont read it, its that simple. No one is forcing you to read it, to get mad, or to reply. You can ignore it. These moderators have jobs and real lives beyond the forums and it would take too much time to edit every single post or thread that started an argument. As long as the language and concepts are appropriate then why should they restrict someones' speech? The only beef I have is the "no posting of names of other forums or companies" thing that wont let me refer people to other places that have the information they are looking for.

The moderators troll around the Fourms and I'm sure will, and have, come across this stuff.
I'm saying those few that are SOLEY meant for that purpose, those guys just trying to start arguments. There are topics started that have no purpose other than to **** people off, what good and what purpose do those serve. If you read through this Forum enough, you know the ones I am talking about.
It's not a "speech" thing. I would not want to deny that to anybody.
YOU STATED "As long as the language and CONCEPTS are appropriate".
You said it right there, CONCEPTS. To me that does not mean something that is just meant to start an argument.
Like I said, this is just my opinion.
It's NOT a huge deal, I just don't see the purpose of people intentionally trying tp stir people up and get reactions from them.

Quad4fun, I apologize for any foul language I used, I just get into the moment to easy when I read goofy stuff like this. I ment what I said in a joking fashion, even though I know it is hard to tell when someone is serious or not over the net. Anyhow this definately is the best atv forum around, majority of the people on here have good info and views on and about our sport.

Here is some info from the Forum Rules.
I have seen many people refer people to different places for something they are looking for.
I believe ( I hope) you CAN tell Joe to go to Rocky Mountain ATV to get a good deal on tires or whatever.
I'm sure I'll get corrected if I am wrong, but this kind of stuff is all over the Forum.
Here is what you cannot do, per the rules:
No commercial Advertising. No posting of commercial web addresses, phone numbers or links in either forum messages, private forum messages or in the author's signature. No use of company names in forum author nicknames or any type of solicitation for commercial business or gain.
========================
As for the "speech" thing, here is another of the rules:
The forums are private forums operated by ATV Connection Magazine. ATV Connection reserves the right to delete or edit any content on the forums.
========================
A desrciption of the Moderators and what they do:
The forum moderators are volunteers and staff who work to keep the forums clean, family oriented and a source of good information for the ATV enthusiast.
Topics SOLEY intended to to create arguments don't fit that description, or the intention of this Forum

Hey MOTO,
What kind of Race kart is that you have? I've worked at and hung out at the track right down from my house for about 4 years. Me and my buddy are the EMTS that stand by. I've ridden both lay down and sit up race karts, they are a hoot. I drove the lay down kart on a road race course, that thing went about 80 mph, some of them top 100, what a rush.

I thought forums where an info source, not a commercial site. Just cause they have sponsers, doesn't mean that is why your refering someone there. I go to the CENTRAL site cuz you don't have to be a paying member to search there non-commercial classifieds. And it sucks to see someone on here looking for a used item, and you can't refer them cuz it's restricted. That's my thoughts. Now everybody feel free to get mad, yell and scream at me, and tell me how stupid I am for trying to help kids on a budget get a good deal without having to talk mom and dad into getting the a subscription to these forums to check the classifieds.

you can check out the club that I work for. there website is www.psgka.com.
I've seen how competitive it can be for sure. The one thing about the racing out here, is they don't put up with rough driving at all, they really keep an eye on it
