iv tried both twist and thumb on both dirt bikes and quads, the thumb was only on my yz for a few hours so that i could keep riding, but i would rather keep the twist on the bikes and the thumb on my quad.

I have twist on the banshee, and thumbs on the scrambler, big bear and recon.

I like the twist on the dunes and the thumb on the trails.

I had my right hand thumb severed off so I cannot ride anymore.
Not really but that would suck.

I'm going to pick my 300ex up today. I'll slap a twist on it first thing. I've riden dirt bikes my whole life and am starting to get into the quad scene [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Thumb.

For those that have problems with thumbs going numb or cramping after long hours of use, we bought an extender kit from Cabello's. My wife really likes it. She says it helps eliminate tension in her thumb.

im for the thumb on quads and twist on dirt bikes.
thumb is the safest for a quad.
