Default NEED HELP---URGENT

does anyone know where the air/fuel mixture screw is on the 400ex? At least this is what HMF calls it. I have looked through all the manuals i can find and not once does it mention this. HMF says i need to set it at 3 turns out. Pictures would also be appreciated

it's the brass screw on the bottom towards the front. it's right behind the ideal adj.screw. it's hard to see without turning the carb sideways.

Default NEED HELP---URGENT

1 take the top cover off the carb and remove o ring
2 remove the screw and washer from the arm.
3 the shaft that that screw was in will have to be pulled out from the side.
4 when you get the shaft out you will be able to remove the carb throttle slide
5 the two screws inside the slide have to be removed and the needle will come right out.

taking the arm loose is not needed. just take the two small screws out at the bottum of the slide and pull the arm up and reach down to the needle with needle nose pliers.
