Just got a 400ex!
Hello,
I have been loaming around for the past few months, looking around for a fourwheeler. I decided to get this 400ex that was in my local paper. This is only the second one I've seen since they came out. It's a red 99, and is in pretty good condition. It has trail scratches and stuff, but the stock tires show very little wear. I checked the usual, cracks in frame, loose swinger, or bearings, oil, airfilter, etc. Everything checked out great, and I bought the thing. Well, then the guy comes back with an arm load of parts, which he gave to me for free! They included DG alloy nerf bars, NIB!! (How do you thread the nets on?) An FMF forest approved disc type silencer (Anyone know what its called? Doesn't say on the pipe) A Cool Jaws bumper, A rear aluminum Skid plate, which is THICK! Also, there was a DynoJet Jet kit, and an K&N filter. Everyhting is installed, except the nerfs, and this thing runs awesome! It pulls very hard through all the gears, and has great torque. Just a few questions, like above. DOes anyone know how to thread the nets in the bars? There are 4 lots, but what order do they go in? And Also, does anyone know what FMF pipe this is? I'll take some pictures tonight.
