Default Keyless Start?

I am in the process of painting and upgrading my 03' 400ex. I have so far gotten the frame totaly bare and ready to be powder coated in candy blue. I am in the process of tearing the the axle out out the swingarm to get painted the same color also. The question i have is that when i put it back together i am getting rid of my lights due to the all new plastic and race cut front fenders i have comming. I would like to know if there is any way you can make the quad not need a key but still have the electric start. I am putting a kill switch on it and was really wanting to get rid of the big start/light/kil switch holder that comes stock. I would use the kill switch to kill all the power like the stock one so I think that some way that could be used as the key off and when you put the kill switch "key" in that would act as if you turned the key on. THe thing is, is that i dont know how i would wire or do that or where i would located my electric start? If anyone could give me some ideas on how to get rid of that and still have my electric start w/o a key that would be awesome.

For anyone wondering what all im doing to the quad:

White Brothers E Series S Bend slilencer
Hoosier Flat Track Tires
ITP T-9 pro series rims
Renthal Bars
Candy Blue Powder Coated Frame, A-Arms, and Swingarm
After Market Kill Switch
Maier Silver Plastic
Pro Armor Skids (A-Arm, Swingarm, frame)
K&N Air Filter
K&N Jet Kit
Pro Armor Race Front Bumper
NO MORE LIGHTS
Gripper Seat Cover
Keyless Start(may be kinda dumb but i have no fears of theft in my lil town)
Trail Tech Speedometer/Computer
Aluminum Air Box
Aluminum Oil Tank

These mods are just for now...im working on makin it an all out MX quad

Your kill switch idea prolly won't work, bacwards polarity. Unplugged is closed circuit, plugged in open circuit. I did something like that with a $70 killswitch off a sea doo. Wasn't worth it though. You can hide the key or put the 2 wires on an on/off toggle switch or????.

I used a dirt bike kill button as my starter button, that worked great and is really stealth compared to the light/ starter switch thing.

if you want your quad to have an electric start without a key, all you have to do, is take the wire leading from the key switch where they connect to the other 2 wires, unplugg all of them. Now reconnect the 2 wires that arent connected to the ignition (ull be able to fully remove the ignition switch) and just turn it on as if you had a key in it.

Just drill a one inch whole in the side of your plastic and relocate the key as i did on my 300ex. I would not just conect like HondaPa said because wouldnt that be like your quad always had the key on, and if it was in neutral and the neutral light was on it would drain the batteray. If i were you, and really didnt want to relocate the key. I would do what Joel said and put it to an off/on switch but hide the switch under the frame so it would be harder to steal.

I said to not do what Honda AP said because he did not say that he explained it without an on/off switch. Sorry if my wording was confusin.
