What Air filter?
I want to get a new air filter to go along with my fmf megamax pipe and im just wondering which will be the best for where I ride. I ride through some mud once in a while, and its usually pretty wet where I ride. Its also really dusty at times when im riding on logging roads. Ive heard about k@n air filters letting in dirt into the engine, has anyone else heard of this? I dont want any arguments, just opinions. Thanks.

All my bikes have K&N's, and my motors last forever!!! Our 250EX and Recon also have a MegaMaxII. It is a good choice for that bike.
We have dust here in the desert, like you wouldn't believe! I ALWAYS run an Outerwears, and I am **** retentive about maintenance. I have 3 filters for each bike. One on the bike, one in the wash, and one clean and oiled up, ready to go. I change them out when the Outerwears gets moderately dirty, which is about 1 days ride. I also run with my airbox lids vented, but this is dry country. -->You will need to rejet!
You really won't be able to take full advantage of your new pipe, without increasing your air intake somehow. But, if you are the kind of person who neglects maintenance, stick with foam.
