hi everyone im new and im going to get a 400ex im 13 and wondering if i should just ride for a year or 2 and then get a 450 or pop a 440 kit in the 400ex thx in advance

 

note: im going to get a 450 either way just wondering if it would be worth i can get a 440 kit for around 180$ plus it would look stock which is good for racing against friends ~!!!~

 

Buy a 400 and ride it till the wheels fall off.

 

I dont think you would be displeased with the 400ex the way it is. If it is too slow for you maybe get a good pipe and k&n filter that will add some pep to it. They are not too slow but are not the fastest either, but good solid rides IMO.

 

if you are going to switch to 450 anyways stay stock on the 400.
