alot of people belive that the "better atv" is the one that can go the fastest in a stright line, when actually alot of variables come into play. Some of these include:
1. rider weight
2. rider ability
3. rider experience
4. quad handling, and the rider's ability to utilize the handling
5. quad stability (some quads are more stable than others)

there are alot more variables, but they all depend on the riders ability to completely use these features.

What i am trying to say is that people should buy the quad that particually "fits" their riding conditions, and most importantly their ability.

Alot of people post "Quad A VS. Quad B", and basically the replies are "Quad A is better" or Quad B is the best"

Example: someone who is built differently like might the warrior, and think that the warrior handles better than the 300ex

So before you go saying "this quad is the best" think about what your saying"

PS: The best way to buy a new quad is to ride any quad before you jump into buying it.

Just bored, Later

most people just dont get it and just shoot out "mines the fastest" but how many times are you really going 70+?

I dont think that speed is any thing who ever won a race with speed most use the low to mid range to power over jumps and even in a drag race you cant win with out a good start.

i Think u r completely correct.
But b proud of what u have.
It make me mad when everyone that i ride wiht say thier P.O.S blaster is faster than mine. It has the worst handling. But it is about 2 mph faster. and it cna do that for about 2 seconds
nice post. I like when ppl think that way

completely true. The rider's weight has alot to do with it.My cousin has a 99 400ex with 18/11/8 holeshots on douglas blue labels,K&N filter, jet kit, graydon nerfs and a larger front sprocket, genuine honda .020 piston His friend has a 2000 400ex all stock with ac pro peg nerfs, and durablue wheel spacers. The stock 400ex smokes the 99 no prob.rider weight my cousin is about 220 and the guy with the 2000 is about 140.my 250r is moded out.In a drag on dry ground I can beat them easily. But when we get on a track the guy with the 2000 and I are neck and neck.M couisn 2 wheels alot while we are on all 4's.I am not afraid to jump.Nither is the guy with the 2000 though but my cousin is a bit scared.

rider weight, rider skill, and rider's courage all played apart in who won.

Good post, but I'll bet 2 days will not go by without seeing another "who would win this race" or "what is the top speed of a ....."
