Crobiker, thanks for the input. My friend who has the YFZ is 5'9" and the machine seems to fit him well. I can't wait to try out a 450R. I ride the dunes some, but my preferred riding spot is a local MX track. The track has 50 and 35 foot doubles, along with some tabletops (6-8 feet height of air). Most of the landings are flat. How much do you weigh? I weigh about 180 lbs. How do you think the front shocks would soak up these jumps?

I can't speak for the 450R, but we got the same thing at our track and my my 400ex handles it no problem and I am 205lbs. When you start going 12-14 feet off the ramp into a flat landing, the bike starts saying 'ouch'.
