Well I did it again... Broke my wrist this time hitting a 40ft double at the MX track. Had it taped out in 3rd. next time 4th. Anyways took my wrist bones and dislocated 2, an inch down and out and fractured another. Had surgury sat. afternoon where they reset bones and stuck 2 pins in there. I tore my MCL like 3 months ago and i think that hurt worst... Comments? Suggestions? or just plain sarchasm???

When you land....is the front end too low causing you too loose control or are you bottoming out the front shocks and loosing control? Those hand injuries make riding pretty tough....I broke some bones in my right hand after a hard landing once on a CR 250.

Too bad, Skunky--been there, done that (broken wrist, that is). You'll be given lots of physical therapy; don't know how valuable those routines are; time (as in, two years) seemed the most effective curative agent for me. Hope you have a speedy and complete recovery.

Power7,

You would be amazed what you can do on stock suspention on a 400ex. I way 158 and have no trouble running MX and yes I do big jumps (ex. 60ft doubles 50ft tablesjust to give you a idea)

Man, I don't care WHAT shocks I have under me, I don't have the ballz to do even a 20ft double!! haha. I guess I'm better off... less likely to break stuff, and I can haul pretty good a$$ through the straights and corners.

Ouch, wrist injuries have to be some of the worst. I still have to be careful with mine, I hurt them weightlifting around 12 years ago.....

Good luck man, hope you're still fairly young, helps the healing process
