Default CR125

Found a 2002 CR125 for sale for $2500.00. The bike has been dropped once or twice on the left, but only damage was a partly broken off clutch handle, and the left side hand grip party ripped off. The rest of the bike, besides the back tire, looks great. Is this a good price? Anybody got one of these? How do they run with YZ125's? Isn't the Honda only a five speed? Is there anything to look for before buying? Problem areas? Any advice would be great!

$2500.00 Is not bad for a 2002 cr 125. See if you can talk him down alittle. YZ and CR are 5 speed's and KX and RM are 6 speed's I think the YZ have alittle more power but are you racing? Hope that help's..

Thanks, I was hoping to talk him down a little. Are there any problem areas to look for?

Ive had a cr125. To get a new clutch lever is about $15 and grips are around $10. Make sure the bike has compression when you kick it. If it doesnt you will have to get a new piston which is around $100 or you will foul plugs( means you wont be riding). Make sure there are not a lot of dents in the pipe.
