Default TRX250R or Banshee?

I'm tryin to decide which of these two bikes i'm gonna buy next cuz each of them have quite a bit of aftermarket and OEM parts available unlike my ATC350X which is getting even more scarce for parts every day. Which one of these is more reliable? I am really used to honda's awesome reliablility but i'm not sure how reliable yamaha is. Also which one is cheaper to buy used? And which one has better suspension & handleing? I probably won't be able to buy whatever i decide to buy for a while so i'm just wantin to know ahead of time so i can start browsing around for one. Thx.

Everything Ive read says 250R has far better suspension and handling, and they are plenty fast stock.

If you want an all out drag quad however (which you obviously dont cuz you ask about handling) then the Banshee is the way to go.

The Shee can make more power with the tons of aftermarket parts available, but their handling will nevr be on par with the R's.

...but this is all stuff you know, common knowledge

250R has excellent reliability. just try to find one as close to stock as possible. 250R has the better suspension and definitely better handling. yamaha reliabily is fine. the banshee is a reliable, solid machine and the ones we had thru the years (88-01) were hardly ever a problem and only one was rebuilt due to sand getting accidently sucked in the engine. but a honda for me has been easier to maintain. i would get a honda.

not really...theres plenty of idiots that have modded banshees and just let their dealer install 'stuff to make it go faster', lol
