We have a 1979 XR100. I've never been able to get it over about 45mph on flat ground. I weigh 200 lbs.

 

yeah i would guess low sixties

 

I'd be surprised if it goes over 45 mph. My son had one for a couple of years and was wound out in top gear while I was in the middle of 3rd on my Raptor. They aren't a power house motorcycle but they are bullet proof for a small kid that's just learning.

my xr80 tops out @ 43mph on flat ground. i had it @ 64 on a hill to fast for that bike[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

My brother had an 01 XR50 and it got up to 38 or 39 with his 60 something pounds on it.

 

I used to have an 1984 xl100..i would say 70km tops..not alot of top end speed or power for that matter..good starter bike tho
