Honda Foremen 400
#2
Well I have a Foreman 400 my self. And I change the oil once a summer and if I drive it in winter I change the oil to winter oil. The top speed should be around 75-78 Kilometers. I don't mind my Foreman but the suspension is alittle rough but its a good machine! GOOD LUCK!

From what I 've heard, I don't think it would get over 48mph. Over the last 2 years on this forum, I've heard around 45mph. on the 400 foreman for an average. It is one of the slowest big bores there is, and probably the slowest 400 you can get. They call it a utility oriented quad. I call it a great quad in 97 and something that should have been laid to rest after the 450 came out. Great quad, but why sell two models that close together still.

Our 98 400 goes anywhere any other quad goes. Of course it has a lift kit, 27"vamps, ITP Alum, wheels also. Might be the best swamp rig we have, nothing to hurt on it and takes a serious beating and keep going. Reminds me of a bigger 300 but with a lot more torgue and better mud gearing to use the torgue with. Is slow, but if speed isn't your need, then the 400 will do just fine.
