they gonna be like yamaha and make everything look like the same quad(ix. raptor raptor 350 and others...)
or are we getting another new design?

 

Hope Honda comes through with that TRX650r, until then my KTM525sx is my rocket-ship of the off-road world. No mods. required...

JTK2y--is that KTM in a quad chassis or just your motorcycle?? Yea I am trying to sell my 400EX, so I can sit on the money and see if there is a 650, and if not I will buy the Honda 450 or the Yamaha 450..

 

My local dealer told me to wait on buying 2 450R's. They had a $5199 price on the 04 models. He said the Honda Rep foresaw a 650 sport quad coming at the show. I put a deposit on 2 450's to be safe but will buy 1 650 if they do come out.

I feel that this is the year. I've been waiting for a big bore sport quad since 01. This is the first year that the boards haven't been a blaze with 650 rumors. Must be that all the potential buyers already own Yamahas. Glad I waited. Everybody that I know who owns a XR650 desert sled, loves them. Should be the perfect quad for big duning. Anyways, thought I'd share the rumors however right or wrong they turn out to be.

URCRAZY; it's my dirtbike. I needed something from the factory with arm-strecthing acceleration with reliability from the Heavens. It takes some serious cash for quads to perform on this level...

 

KTM's Have some nice dirt bikes.. Have you seen the KTM 520 motor stuffed into a quad chassis.. that is awesome.

 

If the 650 does come out I doubt it will have the R badging. Honda will only put that on their race oriented quads, and I doubt the 650 will be TRACK oriented. I'm, guessin it'll be an EX. Also I did see somewhere that Honda has changed the 400ex to look more like the 450r. But I also hope the 650 does come out so Honda has somethin that will slaughter the Ds and Raptor.
