300ex A-arm Bushings
#2
A-arms bushings can and should be cleaned and repacked on a regular basis. If your bushings are shot your looking at around $170 give or take to replace the whole front end. Grease is cheap. Each bushing contains a spherical bearing, two dust boots and two collars. The bearing alone is $23. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's cheaper to invest time now than parts and labor down the road. Another thing, the bottom mount on your front shocks is also a bushing, which should be greased on a regular basis. For every hour you ride you should do at least half of that in maintenance, my opinion. Later.

I checked out your pictures... what size tires do you have on that 300 and what are they? I'm looking at getting new rubber? do you run stock sprockets on that. I have a WB silencer and head pipe for my 93 300ex and it cooks.

I'm running 20/11/9's on back, and the stockers on front. The brand is Carlisle, the model is called Badlands. I've never seen them advertised in rags, I get them locally for around $50 a tire. They are the same tread pattern as Holeshots. I run 14/38 on my gearing. With 20" tires you should regear your ride. Later, Mike.
