Default Dual exhaughst 400ex?

i seen and rode the dual honda exhaust machine, didn't seem to make any more than other exhausts. but it did look good. the 700 kaw is the only machine i've seen that seems to really like that dual exhaust, on a stock machine.

This kinda goes with the talk about why Honda put 2 valves w/ only one cam. I had an old Honda XR200 that had two carbs, but it had only one cylinder. They just do stuff like that.

it's a single cylinder, but has 2 exhaust valves. it's never made any sense to me that honda still has 4 valves with just 1 cam?? why not have 2? lame. : /
next time you have a cam out, hold it in your hand, but dont drop it on your foot.....its a pretty heavy part, so if they can cut down on the rotational mass, and still move 4 valves with one cam, why put another one in there??....remember, the lighter the moving parts on an engine, the more power it will produce, not to mention the weight savings for the machine as a whole, and the simplicity of only have two timing chain sprockets instead of 3.
