just got to thinking and wanted to get other peoples thoughts. modern day 4x4s are so awesome. the first one we had was an 87 Honda Fourtrax 350 4x4. That thing was a rock! not the most capable but you could torture that thing and it just kept on going, through creeks, mud, plowing over trees. we parted with it in 96 when we traded for a 400 foreman and it was in mint condition when we got rid of it. we actually had a guy at the dealership looking to buy try to make a deal with us on the side to buy it! just wondering if anyone else has an old fourtrax or even rarer foreman 350 and any thoughts of the machine. when i get to thinking about it, as much as i like our sportsman and think it's awesome, i kinda miss that 350, it was like the first fourwheeler i ever learned to ride.

Yeah, I've got an '88 Foreman and it's built like a Brick $hithouse. Definitely a rougher riding machine compared to the newer bikes but it still holds its own. Four of us were in upstate NY a few weeks ago and it never let me down. Here's a good pic from that trip Muddy Trail of some of the junk we were riding through. It's not fast on a straight out open run but it's pulled its fare share of newer bikes out of a lot of crap on more than one occasion.

My 1st "4-Wheeler" was a 91' 300 Fourtrax 4x4 and that thing was the most reliable, well built quad I have ever seen. I have a pic of it in my bio from when I was little, check it out. Me and my grandpa had it for ten years and never had to replace anything that I can think of but oil and maybe tires. I sure wish I still had it.
