Default Question for Foreman ES owners

I am considering the purchase of a '04 Foreman ES. I previously owned a 400 AT for a short time. On the 400 AT, when in the ESP mode, you could punch the throttle and hit the shift buttons without backing out of the gas. Can the Foreman ES be shifted in the same manner or do you have to back off of the throttle between gears like the S?

I have an 03, and theres no need to back off the throttle if you dont want to. Its probably a little tough on parts, but there isnt any interlock to stop you from shifting with the throttle open.

Default Question for Foreman ES owners

My wife has a 400AT and I have a Foreman. I noticed that on the 400 there is a small lag time from when you hit
the button and the trans actualy shifted. On the Foreman the shift is "now" and if you dont let off of the throtle
it could be a very jerky ride.
