What happened to the 250R?

It looks like the "r" has faded fast from the headlines. I hope that people will continue to remember what a dominant ATV it has been for 19 years.

I wonder what the lap times are for the Pro Production YFZ, TRX and LTZ vs. the Pro-Am or Vet classes that still have 265/310/330/350PV engined R's.

hard to make the 265cc engine rule compete with 440cc 4-strokes. On top of that factories are only sponsoring 4-strokes so it discourages pro riders to stick with the R

What happened to the 250R?

Be that as it may, I would still be interested in seeing the lap times.

It seems to be pretty close in bikes; 250cc vs. 450cc. Quads obviously can use the extra torque due to 2x the weight and 5x the traction.

is there an outlaw type of class where its race what you brung? i never cared much for limited classes with all the glamour. i want to see the fastest crap possible running around that track.
