New Hondas ?

Hold on now, there might be a Foreman 475 2 wheel drive, 475 foot shift model and ES model. Look under Hondas media newsroom area and there's different kinds of 475's. I don't have time to read all the fine print right now but I think that's what I saw.

As a product engineer, I am here to tell you that you are absolutely correct. Look at how the Z400 and the Rappy where ripped when they weren't completely validated and made available, trannys were breaking, electrical problems, etc. etc. Honda has, is and always will hang their hat on reliability. Alot of these guys forget, that XR400 engine has been around for over 25 years and has won more Baja races than any other quad made. Why would change something that doesn't need improving. Yes, liquid cooling would be nice, but they did give it reverse, and with the gearing, nobody has ridden it, so they don't know really how it will perform. I too am upset that the 650ex wasn't released this year, but I would rather wait a year, and let them perfect it from a engineering/validation standpoint, before I put $6 or 7 K down on one. Just one man's thoughts.

Nice to see they didn't abandon foot shifting, like it appeared at first. Actually, the foot shift Foreman 475 looks pretty good to me.
Notice they are calling the Rincon a "recreation" bike, not a utility.

One of the biggest dreams I've had in my entire life was that one day, I could take over the entire ATV department at Honda. I would throw out all the existing models and restart the entire sport and utility lineups from scratch. All it would take for Honda to regain their quad supremacy would be for them to LISTEN TO A KNOWLEDGABLE forum member here instead of offering "bold new styling" on the same outdated machine for 5+ years. If I could control the engineers at Honda ATV, we would have a killer lineup. I'm sure many of the forum members here could do the same.
