250 won't start
#11
I got it running...thanks to ya'll. Pulled the plug and grounded it against the engine. Turned it over and watched for the spark. It was irregular and not even coming from the right place. Seemed to jump from the outside ring (where the threads are) of the plug rather than across the gap. Swappe it out for the one in my Rancher and Boom...ran like a top.
I got to get a plug for it now... and I am 50 miles from a Honda shop. Anyone know of a conversion for a KGK DPR8EA-9? Something that can be bought locally from an auto parts place or Wal-Mart. I guess I may have to make the drive.
I reckon I will have to ride the wife's 250 at least once a week to keep it running right. I hate to though...little bike, ES...and YELLO to boot. Girlie bike big time
Thanks again

Thats great.
Try out any motorcycle, or snowmobile dealer, or any other atv dealer, they should have the right plug. Otherwise, theres online or mailorder, rather than going 50 miles.
A/C number is r121xls, which will probably be hard to find.
