thats what i'm thinking... the rear fenders don't look too different, so i wonder if you could just get fronts and see if that would look good or not (?)

It will be interesting to see how the 400ex does against the Z400's. Remember that the 400ex used to be priced higher and was dropped back. ($5299.) It would have been nice if Honda didn't raise the price as much as they did. In a way, it might have sent a message to people that the 400ex isn't as good as the higher priced Z400. (if it wasn't priced at least the same) The 400ex is a great machine. It no longer has to carry the race quad title on it's shoulders. That's the 450R's job now. The 400ex can just be a sport quad with reverse. This will be a attraction for a larger group of people.

I used to like the old look of the 400ex. I guess the new look is ok. I'm very glad Honda did not name it the 400R.

That is awsome! I don't see why all the quads don't have reverse That is one of the main reaspons that I bought my 300EX if the 400 had reverse I would have gotten it!

thats stupid they should have changed it a little. its like a yamaha blaster, warrior and banshee all in rappy plastics, switch it up a little, i for one dont like the 450r style plastics.(wow i had to use style bc its on 2 quads now)'

z400 for '05 will be the better deal. Upgraded front shocks for the Z will make the EX even more outclassed.
