OK, so I got KN, Exhaust, Hot Cam, CDI, and 250R front suspension. What next? The bike has a Jardine Exhaust that was on it when I bought it, I was thinking of swapping it for a better slip on, because I read here that the stock header is OK. I was also trying to find info about a new rear shock.. I want a stiffer one with some more adjustment. Any ideas?

Ill be the one to correct u on that seein as how I have both a 400ex and 250R. I have stock suspension on mine, 18years old and its still better than my bros 400ex which is 2years old....and I jump alot higher than he does...theres nothing wrong with the suspension on a 250r

Oh, I love the front suspension. One setting works for everything I do with it. The only complaint I have is the rear shock. I'd like a little stiffer and a slightly longer shock if possible. But I don't want to pay $1K for a shock. Anybody have any ideas? Maybe a rebuild with a stiffer spring? What kind of mods are available for stock shocks? What about a 250R shock?
