trade in value???
You will be floored at what the dealers will offer you for your wheeler. In fact if you like your dealer .. do not ask them what they will give you on a trade in. Because it will be very hard to like them after they tell you what they will give you for it. Be patient and sell it ...then buy .

trade in value???
Well, I got my trade in answer. On this bike, an 03 Rincon with 325 miles, 42 month extended warranty, nothing bent, plastic good(few scratches from trail riding), stock tires with Maxxis 8 spoke wheels, I was offered $3100. The same bike that I wrote a $7600 check for(including warranty) on September 16, 2003. OUCH. The guy didn't really like it when I said out loud " Hondas don't hold there value very good do they?", especially when the showroom was full of people who heard me. Don't get me wrong, I know everything takes a big depreciation the second it leaves the dealer the first time, but I was riled up because they told me it would be 10-14 days before they could check the oil pressure in my trans. if I left the bike with them. Looks like I'll be keeping the Rincon for a while, which isn't that bad of a thing.

trade in value???
I feel your anger. I was thinking of trading my trail boss in after about a year. It was in good shape. I knew the dealer would offer fairly low $ for it...but wanted to see just how much . I thought I was in luck because they had a 2000 Trail boss for sale ( mine is a 2003 ). They offered me $700 LESS for mine then they were selling the 2000 for. The 2000 was beat up and had bald tires with plugs in them. I was prepared to take a loss on the trade in....Instead I lost all respect for the dealer.
