Proximity Mines / Claymores with lazer trips. Just dont forget to disarm when you goto get your quad out.

realistically, there's a company that makes a lock for front brake and clutch levers, that locks them to the handlebars, so you can't release the brake or clutch. kryptonite makes a chain that is virtually cut-proof, u need like a plasma cutter to get throught it, the down side is that it's short, and costs 80 bucks. a tether kill switch will keep somebody from riding away with it, and a thick, steel cable with a disc lock (made by kryptonite) will keep them from rolling it very far. i keep my quads locked together (3 quads) with a 30' long, 1" thick steel cable and a disc lock. they r locked to my trailer as well as being locked together. the trailer has a lock on the hitch, so you can't possibly hook it up, and we have a wheel lock that we use if the trailer is going to be left outside for more than a few days without being moved. seems a lil excessive, but the quads get left for weeks at a time, and i want them to be there when i get back.

if you realy want the thiefs to get it good? rap his arm in chain, tha lock it to a couple of cinderblocks and give him a hacksaw, than throw him in a lake. if he has any sence he will figure out that in about 2 min you can hack threw your arm before you passout dew to lack of air. if he doesnt get threw, whatever happens, happens

well, no, no insurance policy on the quad itself.... however, the homeowners insurance is possiblypossibly going to cover it, because they broke into the shed to get it. i guess it's considered (under this policy) that the shed is like the house, so if it's broken into and something is stolen then that's covered. but i don't know for sure if they will cover it, and should find out by the end of the week....wish me luck! crobiker, whats a disc lock?? all of those suggestions are great, too, thanks.... i've never heard of the clutch one...
