400EX SHOCKS
#2
Adding good aftermarket shocks helps out tremendously. I personally own works triples which were the cheapest. 420 dollars from recreation unlimited. They have the optional remote reservoirs and they work awesome. I wouldn't have believed it myself if someone told me how soft they were but soaked up all the hard hits I gave them. I tried to bottom them out casing into doubles and everything else. I weigh almost 200 lbs and I've only bottomed them 1 time. That was hard hit. Anyway, the aftermarket shocks not only help for jumping but also trail riding. They give you more suspension travel. They also are easier on your frame. If you bottom stock shocks a lot it starts to create stress points where the shock meets the a-arms and also around the welds. Hope that helps

I'll tell you all about mine on Tuesday, when they arrive! Call the pro's out at the Shoc Connection and they'll set you up the same day. I too only trail ride and run homemade tracks, etc, and they reccomended the tripple rate's w/o rezzies.... and thats what I did.
