which has more mods..Rancher or Grizzly??
#4
The Griz has been out since '98(?). So, it would make since there are more aftermarket 'mods' for it than the Rancher.
I believe by this time next year there will be mods for the Rancher, due to the number of quads being sold. I am sure the Rancher is outselling the Griz.

do you want utility or sport/utility???
bot the grizz and rancher and utilities that happen to be sporty. Of coarse the grizz is gonna be faster. The rancher has a MUCH better ride and handles tihght trails better, or should i say more easily. The rancher is not as top heavy as the grizz and my feal more like your sitting ON the grizz and IN the Rancher.
It is a not realy possible to fairly compare these two quads. The grizz is a big bore and the rancher is a mid-size.
From the list of wants that you have you may be more happy with a Scrambler. They eaisly our step the grizz and rancher, mud as good, if not a little better than the two and are pretty good hill climbers also. Put a pipe, jet kit, and clutch kit on it ad it will run with about ANY wheeler on the market. I have seen my buddy outrun 400EX's on his slightly modified scram 500!!
