I got a statment and a question for you polaris lovers, We have a honda 450-s and all my friends have honda's and are drum bracks on the machines are flawless for drum brackes, I can't complain about them at all. Now you also got to think about the maintance of you'r polaris'es, my dealer will not trade them in for a honda because they are to hard to work on, The person that owns Charlies honda said that he won't put a polaris
in is show room because they are junk.

Im not wanting to bash polaris but tring to prove a point.

He also forgot that you can go like 60 mph in reverse, cooler colors, (usually) better price, and looks better.......

I have spoken with a dealer who sells Honda, Kawasaki and Polaris. He told me one night at our local watering hole that Polaris had outsold both Honda and Kaw. combined for 99. He also said 2 years prior that it was the other way around. Obviously not all Polaris products are the junk your local purveyer of Japanese quads was referring to.

Rubicon.

Our ATV club is made up off the following
Honda 46%
Yamaha 17%
Polaris 9%
Kawasaki 9%
others 19%

However, when we are not riding with the club I would say that 2 of 3 ATV's out there are either Honda or Polaris.

I believe different brands sell better in certain areas of the country. This probably has to do with the dealers, obviously good dealers sell more.

If i was going to get a new 4x4, it would be the SP500

The Auto on the polaris is much more simple. I've never really heard of one breaking.

I've heard of quite a few computer troubles with the Rubicon. That one cares me, something that can't be fixed easily down the road.

I'd say they are pretty equal mudders. With new tires.

Ride the SP500 all the way!

I actually got to ride a rubicon Saturday really a cool machine. No way i'd touch that tranny though!

I would not want to go 60 in reverse, but it is nice having those tires spinning that fast when you are backing out of a mud hole that has stopped forward momentum. I know from experience.
