Default question on a winch

how are the superwinches? i know warn are the most popular and probably the best but they are too damn expensive. cabelas have the superwinches for $239. also how is mounting them? is it easy to do or will it take me most of the day or should i just have the dealer do it.

Tusk/superwinch = Junk

You get what you pay for in this case.

Warn or ramsey is the way to go if you want to rely on it.

Default question on a winch

Hi I have a warn...and my buddy has a superwinch...so far they have both worked without problems . As for installation , it is not difficult but does take a few hours and some patience.

Default question on a winch

if you get anything less then a 2.5 you'll be wishing you got the bigger one the first you need to pull yourself out of the mud and it dont have the power to move it.
the 1.5 sound pretty good but there not stronge enuff.
my 2.5 bearly does the job.
