questions about a 1986 trx 200

i saw a trx200 for sale and i was thinking about geting it but i was woundering if someone could tell me about them like is it chain or shaft drive is it easy to buy parts for and if any one had any pics of them and how would the ride in the tralis with mud and water and other crap

the old 200 is a very reliable bike. my friend's had one since they got it new in 1986 with almost no problems. it is chain drive and as far as parts go you may be able to get some oem parts out of dennis kirk, rocky mountain, etc, but most i think you will have to go through your dealer to get as far as internals and cosmetics. the ride is pretty smooth but it only has several inches of suspension travel. like i said it is mostly a trouble free bike that will take a beating. it sits pretty low and doesnt have a really tight turning radius but it is very light and nimble. it has enough power to carry almost 410 pounds of person(250,160). the thing you'll probably be buying the most for it is tires because of how much you'll be riding it because it's so fun.
