I have a foreman and I love it. We ride mud a lot and my foreman has no trouble tackling the same mud holes as the other atv's. Most of the time if one wheeler can not get through a mud hole then none of the wheelers can either...Very seldom does brand " X " make it through and none of the others can. My ES has never failed me....I trust it ...if it does fail me in the future...I would still be confident buying another ES model based on all the trouble free miles my current ES has given me.
There are better pure mudding wheelers then the foreman.......but unless you plan on winning the local mud bogs....the foreman will get you through some very nasty stuff.

ES works great and the vast majority of honda owners have never had a problem with it. Most problems are bad connections or just require resetting the system which is as simple as rocking the quad and turning the key on and off.

Great in the mud! I installed a winch when i bought mine, but have only used it once, and that was to pull someone else out of the mud! The ground clearance is low on the stock Foreman. I went with the 26 inch Bigfoot kit and still the rancher 350 2wd has about one inch more ground clearance. Havent found a mud hole yet that has stopped it!
